Prompt Tree Service is dedicated to caring for your trees and your property. Each tree is individually considered and the general description of the work to be done is to be assessed in relation to the shape, size, character, condition, site and specimen of each tree.
A documented risk assessment is carried out prior to commencement of works. All operations are completed so as to leave each tree in an acceptable, well-balanced and safe condition.
Below is a breakdown of our Tree Surgery services:
- Section Felling - trees to be section felled are dismantled with the use of lowering ropes, cables and slings adequate to the task. All cut off sections are either lowered to the ground or thrown by hand in a controlled manner.
- Reduction - the overall size of the tree is reduced by a certain precentage, reshaped and cleaned of dead wood.
- Pollarding - a tree is pruned back to a set point, usually the crown or a few metres from it.
- Epicormic Pruning - the growth of small branches are cleared from the trunk below the crown to improve timber value in the future.
